Keokuk County Health Center Offers School Sports Screenings

The pediatricians of the Keokuk County Pediatric Clinic will be performing school sports screenings on July 13 and July 27 from 6-8 p.m.  

Dr. Mary Graeff and Dr. Nancy O´Brien are specially trained in the care of adolescent athletes and will be doing screening limited to students entering the 8th through 12th grades in fall of 2009.  The clinic is located on the lower level of Keokuk County Health Center. These are limited sports screenings, no immunizations, laboratories or evaluation of medical problems will be done at these times. 

The fee is $25.00, which will be donated back to the students´ schools for athletic programs. Dr. Graeff and Dr. O´Brien are also available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9a.m. to 2 p.m. for complete physical examinations which will fulfill your student´s athletic physical requirement but also offer a more extensive health evaluation, care for any medical problems encountered, discussions of growth and development, safety, guidance, counseling, immunizations and laboratories as needed.
