Kindergarten News

By Carol Kelly

January 12, 2010

In Kindergarten, we are working on our letters and sounds Aa-Mm.  We have worked on the numbers 0 - 12 and will soon be working on telling time by the hour and money names and values (penny, nickel, dime). We are starting to learn some sight words including: my, said, I, the, a, have, go. We are also working on generating and reading rhyming words such as cat, hat, rat, & bug, mug, rug.
We have been working on winter art projects.  Snowmen and penguins adorn our rooms.  We recently completed a patriotic flag unit.
We are loving all the snow.  When we wear all of our winter gear, you will find us sliding down the big snow hill on the playground.  Stay Warm!!!
