BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING
August 13, 2010
SPECIAL SESSION
The Pekin Community School Board met in special session on August 13, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. in the superintendent’s office of the Pekin Community Schools. Board members present were: Bennett (via phone), Hollingsworth, Van Voorst and Winn (via phone). Absent: Adam, Copeland and Millikin. Also present were: Jeff Eeling, Brian Stone, Superintendent Dotson and Connie Linney.
President Hollingsworth called the meeting to order and acknowledged a quorum
Van Voorst moved to accept the resignation of Dustin Coleman and technology director. Winn seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
Winn moved to approve the contract for Josh Goudy as technology director at a salary of $52,000, with $815/month insurance package. Van Voorst seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
Van Voorst moved to adjourn the meeting. Bennett seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The time was 12:10 p.m.
