Land O Lakes “Save Five For Schools” Program
by Janice Dix, Pekin Coordinator
At Pekin School we are collecting Land O Lakes gallon jug caps from milk, chocolate milk, and orange juice. For each cap we collect, the school is able to get $0.05 per lid. The lids must have the “Save Five for Schools” sticker on it and be clean in order to turn it in. So far we have collected 418 caps. We have to have 2,000 to be able to send them in for redemption, but we can send 1,000 caps in once a year if the 2,000 cap goal can’t be reached. We will use this money to purchase some additional apps or programs for our computers and I-Pads to help expand subjects that we are teaching.
You can purchase Land O Lakes gallon milk at the Kum and Go in Fairfield and Sigourney. Please help us reach our goal of 1,000 Land O Lakes caps for this school year. Remember the caps need to be clean so they don’t smell. Thank you for your support
