I would like to welcome you to the Pekin Community School District. Pekin CSD is made up of several communities within our school district boundary.  We have students from Rubio, Richland, Ollie, Packwood, Martinsburg, Abington, Highland Center and Hedrick. We are a PK-12 public school district with an enrollment of about 650 students.  We are truly the hub for our community and we have tremendous support from our parents, students, staff and community members. Our district is known for its superb ability to perform at a high level in the classroom and on the competition field. Our students continually score in the top of half our AEA for academics and we provide various post-secondary opportunities to our high school students.  We feel we prepare our students for the rigors of life and they are ready to take on the challenges that they will face in the future.

We are a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports district and we use the acronym PRIDE to communicate our values.

                      Individual Responsibility

If you would like to learn more about our district, please feel free to contact me at dave.harper@pekincsd.org or 641-224-2524.   I would love to talk to you more about the tremendous opportunities we offer our students.

Dave Harper
