On the morning of Thursday, April 6th, nine students from Pekin Elementary attended William Penn’s Spring Sport Day. Mrs. Hahn, Mrs. Brisby, and Mrs. Redlinger attended with the students. The William Penn students planned over a dozen different sports or games with accommodations to be available for every student to attempt. Some games available were badminton, basketball, baseball, scooters, Frisbee golf, Velcro ball toss, golf, bocce ball, and soccer.  Many other schools attended that day, and our students were able to meet students from area schools. Our students had a wonderful time, and we hope to attend next year.
