Hello fellow Pekin fans! We are still collecting the Box Tops for Education at Pekin Elementary School. So far this school year with your help we have collected 5, 200 box tops or a total of $520.00. This is wonderful news because it has helped our library purchase some new books for the students' enjoyment! Carol Jones our librarian was very thankful to be able to pick out 34 new books ranging from kindergarten to young adults.
Some of the new titles include Bathtime for Biscuit, Campfire Mallory, Gridiron bully, Nineteen Minutes, What Marion taught Willis, Down the Yukon, Say it Right in Spanish, Twisted, and ASPCA complete Dog Care Manual. So you can see there is a great variety of books. We couldn't have done any of this without your support. A BIG thank you goes out to all of you.
Remember that we have collection sights in each of the elementary wings. I have also received some by mail. No matter how you choose to collect and send them to the school, they are making a difference for our school. Thank you for your support.
