Today is a B Day.
If you are taking an IHCC online course, please stop in the counselor's office and pick up your books.
Yearbook is no longer a class. If you would like to sign up to be in the Yearbook club stop in the office. We will be offering community service hours for this. We are now a secondary school so there will be one book containing 7-12. An informational meeting will be held today after school in the secondary art room. Here is a short video with information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IO_J4oqS10M
Auditions for the fall musical will be held September 1st and 2nd, before and after school, in Mr. White's room. Sign-up sheets will be posted on Friday, Monday and Tuesday outside of both Mr. White's and Ms. Lane's rooms. Details about what you need to prepare will be on those sign-up sheets. If you auditioned last year, you will need to audition again. Direct any questions to Mrs. Brown.
Any students who are interested in Spanish Club for this year need to contact Ms. Coffin by email or stop in to see her. All students who have completed one year of Spanish are eligible to participate. You do not have to be in class this year. Please contact Ms. Coffin as soon as possible because we want to start on our activities right away.

A reminder to ALL students...you MUST sign in and out at the office if you are late or leaving early during the day. The office must have written permission or a phone call from the parent or guardian or the student will not be allowed to leave. Students need to talk to Christy before checking out.
Juniors and Seniors: Please turn in your Pekin Community Scholarship tickets and money for the tickets that you sold by Friday, September 3rd. This will affect your scholarship points/amounts if you choose to not turn in the tickets or the money for them. You will earn more points, which turns into more money on your scholarship amount, if you turn in the money for your tickets. You will lose points, which results in less money on your scholarship, if neither the tickets or the money for them are turned in. If you turn in your tickets and no money, you will not gain points but will not lose points towards your scholarship amount. There were two students that turned their tickets in to Christy and did not have their name on them, if this was you - please check with Christy to make sure that she recorded that you returned your tickets.
