There is a sign-up sheet in the office for anyone in grades 9-12 that are interested in trying out for the dance team. Please sign up by the end of the day today.
It’s rivalry week! To celebrate the Iowa vs Iowa State football game this Saturday, show your support for your favorite team on Friday by wearing your black and gold or crimson and gold. It’s also a Pekin football Friday, so show your support for the Panthers by wearing black, white or red. Let’s cheer on all our favorite teams this weekend!
The Pekin Boosters Association is looking for members! The Boosters are planning some exciting things for this school year. If you are interested in joining the Boosters, membership forms are available in the junior high and high school offices, on the Pekin Boosters Facebook page and available during volleyball and football games. If you have questions about the Boosters Association, please email pekin.boosters@pekincsd.org.
Students should sign up for Spanish Club by today. See Ms. Coffin or send her an email letting her know you want to join.
HS Volleyball is now selling Pekin Jackets. Two jackets are on display in the HS office. They are non sport specific and will have Pekin Panthers and the logo on the front corner of the chest. Choose red or black, hooded, zip front and water resistant. There is a sign up sheet in the HS office. REMINDERS:
A reminder to ALL students...you MUST sign in and out at the office if you are late or leaving early during the day. The office must have written permission or a phone call from the parent or guardian or the student will not be allowed to leave. Students need to talk to Christy before checking out.
There is still time to sign-up for Yearbook Club in the high school office.
