We’d like to thank everyone who came to support our third Come Read With Me Day. We always have fun putting this on for our students and enjoy watching them share their excitement of reading with a loved one. Our next event will be April 17th, so keep an eye out for the RSVP! What a busy day it was with Come Read With Me, Valentine’s Day and the 100th day of school! It was a whirlwind but hopefully each child was able to make some lasting memories of such an eventful day. Thank you for sending treats, cards, and goodies to top it off. It’s important to take a little break from our busy schedules to celebrate kindness and friendship. For the 100th day, we were able to set up 10 different stations throughout the first grade classrooms with STEM materials provided by Mrs. Winslow. The stations challenged students to design and build objects made by 100 different items. The items included things like cups, craft sticks, cubes, blocks, and more. It was fun to observe their thinking and watch their designs come to life. Way to go first graders!
