Elementary Music Update

Hello Everyone!  I have missed spending time with our Pekin Elementary students and hope everyone is making the best of this challenging time.  All of us are in this together.   

       Here are a few things I need you to know:

• I had the teachers attach a music activity for you to do.  Please continue with that and if you get it all accomplished please email me and I will give you some more! :0)
• 6^th graders – I have received 3 videos of the instruments you were assigned to make before we went on break.  I want to see and hear some more of your ideas! :0)
• There will be no concerts the remainder of the year.   Mr. White, Mr. Blakely and myself will be meeting in the near future to set up the dates for next year.  Here’s the rotation for the 20-21 school year;  December – 3^rd/4^th grades, March – 5^th/6^th grades & April – K-2^nd grades.  5^th/6^th grade bands will perform at the December and March concerts.
• 5^th and 6^th grade band members, it’s crucial that you continue to play/practice your instruments.  Woodwinds email me a time we can have a lesson via zoom or google hangouts, whichever you have available to you and brass email Mr. White and set up a time with him.  We look forward to hearing from you.
