Elementary P.E. Update

Currently all students in physical education class are involved in Halloween activities. The K-2 are going to do some fun throwing and catching Halloween games, while the 3-6 graders are going to be doing some scooter, and throwing accuracy activities. All grades have moved inside because of the big weather change. We were able to get our outdoor FitnessGram tests done before the cold weather hit us. The 3-6 graders did a very good job on their ½ mile and mile run. I was very impressed with how well they did considering we were out of school for so long! It was great to see them do well. We started testing inside and have two tests left; pull up test, and Pacer! After our FitnessGram testing we will move into hockey, different manipulatives for the younger grades, yoga, and rhythmic movements.
