School Board Candidates for the Nov. 7, 2023 Election
Interested in serving the Pekin School District as a school board member? See below for information on the upcoming November 7, 2023 election. There are four spots open. Director District 1, 2, 4 and an at-large position. To run for Director District 1, 2, or 4 you must live in those boundaries. To run at-large you can live anywhere in the Pekin School District. See the map below for the boundaries. Election paperwork must be filed with Cherie Westendorf, Business Manager/Board Treasurer. ELECTION AFFIDAVIT OF CANDIDACY
The first day that paperwork can be filed is Monday, Aug. 28 The last day that paperwork can be filed is Thursday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m.
Candidates need to obtain at least 24 signatures using ONLY the Nomination Petition form linked above. Please do not use any other form. The Auditor's office encourages candidates to obtain more than 24 signatures in case signatures are challenged and subsequently thrown out.

- The Candidate Affiliation is BLANK
- It must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public. Pekin Business Manager, Cherie Westendorf, is a Notary.
