ISASP testing is right around the corner! Students will be testing next week **Tuesday through Friday**, and we want to make sure everyone is ready to go.
🕗 **Testing Schedule:**
Students will test each day from **8:10–10:10 AM**, followed by a **10:10 late start bell schedule** for the remainder of the day.
🎓 **Seniors:** You do **not** need to report to school until the **10:10 bell schedule** begins.
These assessments are an important opportunity for students to **show the growth they’ve made all year long**. From the first day of school to now, our students have put in the work—and this is their chance to demonstrate that progress.
🍎 **Good news!** Pekin Secondary will be providing **free breakfast items for all students each testing day** to help them start their morning off right.
✅ Get a good night’s sleep
✅ Eat breakfast (on us!)
✅ Arrive on time and ready to focus
✅ Most importantly… **do your best!**
We are proud of the effort our students put in every day and are confident they will represent Pekin well. Let’s finish strong! 💪

Next week, March 2nd - March 5th, Pekin Elementary will be celebrating Read Across America Week — a nationwide effort to promote the joy and importance of reading, inspired by the works of Dr. Seuss.
We have a fun-filled week planned with themed dress-up days, buddy reading, and special classroom activities designed to spark imagination and encourage a lifelong love of books.
We invite families to join in the fun by reading together at home, helping students participate in our spirit days, and asking them about the stories they’re exploring at school.
Reading opens doors to adventure, creativity, and opportunity — and we can’t wait to celebrate with our students next week!

Our thoughts go out to Kylers family, friends and community during this difficult time.
