Community service is an important part of Panther Pride—it builds connections, teaches valuable skills, and helps our students reach the **20 service hours required for graduation**.
🔹 Academy students have been notified of their schedules for the afternoon.
We’re excited for another meaningful day of giving back—go Panthers! 🐾❤️

Pekin community members: See attached the Parade Route for Wednesday September 24th at 6pm in Hedrick. Parade lineup starts at 5:15pm. Please use care when parking in labeled parking lots due to wet conditions.
On Wednesday September 24th, the Richland and Hedrick activity late buses will leave Pekin CSD at 5pm. Any Junior High activities practices will conclude by 4:50pm to respect these leave times. Any students wanting to attend or participate in the 6pm parade in Hedrick, may ride the Hedrick late bus. Students will be responsible for their own transportation getting home following the parade & coronation activities.
Homecoming Week is next week and we are excited to share the Elementary Dress-Up Days.

7th - 11th Grade will be MAP testing next Tuesday - Thursday September 2nd - 4th. MAP testing is an important test to show where students are missing essential skills. All students 7 -11th grade will take the tests. The testing schedule will be as follows: Tuesday Reading, Wednesday Math, and Thursday Science. Students will test from 8:10 - 10:10 followed by their regular classes. Seniors are REQUIRED to attend from 8:15 - 10:15 on Tuesday Sept. 2nd. Christy and Vicky have important graduation and senior information along with other graduation requirements that will be covered. Seniors will report to the HS Commons. Additional information about MAP testing is shared in the attached image.
